Bike Rides Description:
Bike ride about 10 miles of the C & O Canal on the
Maryland Side of Great Falls and walk down to see the falls. Optional
Canal boat ride, you will need to bring money to ride the canal
boat. If we have a group of 10 or more a boat ride will only cost
$5.00 per person. You can buy your lunch at the park. You will
need to bring bottled water. I recommend riding a mountain bike
on this bike ride.

Baltimore Ski Club Bike Rides
Description: We will be riding the Rock Creek Trail from the horse stables near the DC line. Along Beach Drive and through several parks to Randolph Road in Maryland ware we will turn around and head back. I recommend riding a mountain bike on this bike ride. You will need a bag lunch and bottled water for this bike ride. This bike ride will be about 10 miles round trip with some hills.

Baltimore Ski Club Bike Rides
Description: This is the final part of the Rock Creek Bike Trail and we will be starting at the same picnic area we stopped for lunch at on our last ride on June 21, 2008. This final segment of the Rock Creek Bike Trail will take use past the Kennedy Center and along the Tidal Basin in DC and cross into Arlington, Virginia and we will turn around at Arlington National Cemetery just across the Potomac River. This bike ride will be about 15 miles round trip and it has several l,ong hills. I recommend riding a mountain bike on this bike ride. You will need a bag lunch and bottled water and money for you Metro pass.

Baltimore Ski Club Bike Rides
Description: we will be starting out at the Meadowbrook Stables again because it is the only parking lot that I know of that we can easily can park at. It is no more then 1 mile to connect to the Capital Crescent Trail riding north on the Rock Creek Trail. This is the beginning of the paved section of the Capital Crescent Trail and most of the first half of our way will be down a slight hill that goes for miles. So you should conserve your energy for the ride back. This bike ride will be a little more then 10 miles. . I recommend riding a mountain bike on this bike ride. You will need a bag lunch and bottled water for this bike ride.
