The August, 2010 Baltimore Ski Club happy hour will be the Friday the 13th at the Bay Cafe at 2809 Boston Street in Canton. The Bay Cafe is a club favorite but it has changed the happy hour from what we enjoyed in years past. There is still the $5.00 cover charge, at the June Happy Hour they did give out a food voucher; also there are no more two for one drinks. They advertise $2.50 drinks at the bar and the tables except for "top shelf" and frozen drinks. They have kept the free buffet. The Bay Cafe has an outdoor deck and a beach. They changed the layout and have fewer outdoor tables. It looks out on the harbor. Remember to bring your sun blocks, hats, shades, and coozies. Live music with "Danny Dolan and First Class" from 6-10 P.M. For the late arrivers who miss the buffet, the Bay Cafe has good pub grub and a restaurant menu. The club members start showing up right after work with an influx starting around sixish. Come out and enjoy the end of a workweek with club members and friends.
