Seven Springs, PA
January 11 - January 14, 2009
Pennsylvania's largest resort also has one of the world's largest base lodges. This huge complex includes no less than a dozen different eateries, along with sports facilities which include ten pin bowling, game rooms, mini-golf, roller skating and an indoor pool. There are additionally half a dozen lounges and shops.

Half the terrain at Seven Springs is rated 'easiest' and is made up of wide easy cruisers cut through the thick forests. The lifts usually open early in December and keep running through late March, staying open into the evening every night. Although only 15% of the terrain is rated 'most difficult' (including 3% 'expert only') there are good steeps on the North face with some challenging moguls. Almost all of the terrain is covered by snowmaking, but the resort receives an average six feet of the natural stuff anyway.
